Appointment Cancellation

We understand that your time is very valuable. We are constantly striving to make your experience here more pleasant than any other place you have previously been. Trying to accommodate every patient’s individual needs and work schedule can be challenging. We make every effort to stay on time so that our patients will not have to wait unnecessarily.

Your appointment is a commitment of time between you and our office. We ask that you make every effort to keep that commitment.

If you find that you cannot keep your appointment, we do require a notice of 48 hours (2 Business days) so that we are able to assist other patients with their dental needs.  If our office is not notified within the 48 hours, you may be subject to a cancellation charge.

We truly appreciate your understanding. Our goal is to be your partner in health and to assist you in keeping your teeth for a lifetime.

Please contact our office at 860-523-4239 if you can not keep your confirmed appointment.

What to Expect during your First Visit

As a practice, we are true believers that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health.  We strive to provide “dental health care” vs. “disease care”.

The initial examination with your dental provider may take from 60 to 90 minutes based on your unique needs. Patients with additional needs  may require molds of your teeth, a followup visit to further discuss your customized treatment options or followup with the dental hygienist for hygiene therapy (cleaning of teeth).

At the initial examination, we will take the time to review your medical history as this can impact your dental health. We will provide you with an extensive examination which includes checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, perform an oral cancer screening, evaluation/screening of your jaw joint or TMD (temporomandibular joint) and take x-rays as needed.  Your dentist will then provide you with a customized treatment plan based on your individual needs. Our goal is to help you achieve your optimal dental health.

We would prefer to have your dental x rays  prior to your scheduled dental visit as this will give your dental provider a background of your dental history. If  you have had recent x-rays taken recently, please call our office at (860) 523-4239 if you wish for us to call and facilitate obtaining this information on your behalf.

The first step towards a beautiful, healthy smile is to schedule an appointment. Please contact us by calling or texting us 860-523-4239 or by completing our online appointment request.  ***Please do not use this form to cancel or change an existing appointment.
